LIG Nex1 participates in Malaysia's DSA 2024

South Korea's major defense system developer LIG Nex1 Co. announced on Tuesday that it's participating in the Defence Services Asia (DSA) 2024 exhibition held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which opened the day before and runs for four days.

DSA is a specialized defense and security exhibition initiated by the Malaysian government in 1988, with participation this year from 1,200 companies representing over 60 countries worldwide.

LIG Nex1 is attending DSA for the second time this year following 2022, showcasing key export-oriented guided weapons such as Cheongung II (South Korean Medium-range Surface-to-Air Missile; KM-SAM) for medium-range air defense, Haegung (South Korean Surface-to-Anti Air Missile; K-SAAM) for fleet defense, Shingung (South Korean Portable Surface-to-Air Missile; KP-SAM) for portable air defense, and Hyeongung (Anti-tank Guided Missile; ATGM) for anti-tank purposes, along with a locally demanded advanced artillery radar system.

LIG Nex1 is holding local meetings to promote and expand its export market by introducing guided weapon systems optimized for local terrain and battlefield environments to military officials in Malaysia and other Southeast Asian countries.

Particular focus is being given to promoting Cheongung II and Haegung, which have garnered significant interest from Malaysia.
