LG CNS, a South Korean information and communications technology service provider specializing in digital transformation (DX), on Thursday launched Data Analytics & AI Platform Generative AI (DAP GenAI), a generative artificial intelligence (AI) platform for business use.
DAP GenAI provides product recommendations, document summaries and data-based reports on a user’s behalf. The configuration of the service starts with the selection of a large language model (LLM) such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google’s PaLM 2, LG AI Research’s EXAONE and Anthropic’s Claude.
DAP GenAI can also create a product recommendation AI service by selecting a consumer information database, prompts for product searches and LLM. Sharing developed services within the company can devise derivative services.
Another function prevents an AI hallucination, which occurs when the inflow of external information causes AI to produce inaccurate content as if it were correct.
DAP GenAI has two functions: AI Prompt and LLMOps. The first is a service that automatically configures prompts so that AI provides accurate answers since the AI output value is greatly varies depending on how a prompt is entered.
LLMOps is a tool that optimizes a range of LLMs for specific businesses like EXAONE. The function allows banks to create their own LLMs by learning product-related data such as that on loans, pensions and funds in an LLM.
Earlier, LG CNS released DRAG (Drawing with Generative AI), a multimodal-based image creation AI that allows even non-experts to easily create their desired pictures. Multimodal refers to AI input and output through paths such as text, image and voice.
In June, the company unveiled AI Coding, a generative AI service that supports developer coding tasks when developers build systems, applications and services.
