South Korean game company Netmarble Corp. announced on Monday that it will partner with Hana Financial Group to develop new financial experiences and business ventures in the metaverse.
The collaboration aims to create services that blend gaming and finance, targeting the MZ generation—individuals born between the early 1980s and early 2000s.
Netmarble revealed plans to introduce Hana Financial's exclusive services into its forthcoming game, "Grand Cross: Metaworld," which is under development by its subsidiary, Metaverse World.
The game, designed using the cutting-edge Unreal Engine 5, is an open-world concept that combines virtual and real-world elements.
The company stated that Metaverse World intends to run a closed beta test for "Grand Cross: Metaworld" later this year.
