LS Electric unveils innovative solutions at Korea, Japan energy exhibitions
The company will showcase next-gen modular energy storage, EV relays and DC power equipment total solutions, as well as the SST-based EV charging platform
SST-based EV charging platform on display at LS Electric booth in InterBattery 2023 LS Electric Co., Ltd., an industrial electric solutions company from South Korea, is set to showcase innovative solutions at smart energy exhibitions in both Korea and Japan.
The company announced on Wednesday its participation in two events, InterBattery 2023 held at COEX in Seoul and Smart Grid Expo Tokyo 2023 in Tokyo, both running until March 17.
The latest trade shows will see the unveiling of LS Electric's solid-state transformer (SST)-based electric vehicle charging platform for the first time.
With the advantage of not requiring a separate power conversion device, the SST has embedded power semiconductors, enabling DC-AC conversion simultaneously with voltage conversion.
The SST-based EV charging platform can also measure and collect power usage data, facilitating the prediction of power consumption levels.
Along with the SST-based EV charging platform, LS Electric will also showcase next-generation modular energy storage (ESS), EV relays and DC power equipment total solutions.
The company is focusing on overseas markets such as Japan, North America and Europe with its next-generation ESS, as the global ESS market is expected to reach $13 billion by 2027.
