Kia Corp. has unveiled its new Sorento, a facelift of its fourth-generation sport utility vehicle (SUV). The company announced on Thursday that it will officially release the vehicle on Aug. 18.
With its multifaceted design, the exterior of the new model boasts a harmonious blend of the signature Starmap lighting daytime running lights (DRL) and a distinct radiator grille.
A voluminous hood, bumper, and skid plate further accentuate the front, giving it a robust appearance.
The vehicle's rear is highlighted by a Starmap graphic connecting two rear combination lamps and a broad rear skid plate, underlining its solid stance.
Kia's latest SUV is loaded with state-of-the-art features, including over-the-air (OTA) wireless software updates, e hi-pass, streaming plus, built-in cam 2, and the Kia digital key 2.
Furthermore, the new Sorento incorporates cutting-edge safety and driver assistance technologies like the forward collision-avoidance assist and highway driving assist 2 (HDA 2).
Since its 2020 launch, the fourth-generation Sorento has consistently performed well in the domestic market, selling more than 60,000 units each year.
It has cemented its position as the top mid-size SUV for three years running. In just the first half of this year, sales have already exceeded 36,000 units.
