South Korea's autonomous robot startup Neubility and Samsung C&T Corp. said on Wednesday that they began to offer door-to-door delivery in apartment complexes with the self-driving robot 'Neubi'.
New Mobility utilized multi-camera-based V-SLAM mapping, sensor fusion, and AI object recognition technology that enables self-driving without GPS or LiDAR to enable delivery services in indoor environments.
The system's integration with elevators also enables unmanned driving indoors and outdoors.
Residents can receive deliveries directly at their front door.
