South Korean generative AI startup Wrtn Technologies announced on Tuesday that it has integrated Google's latest PaLM 2 non-English language model into its services.
PaLM 2 is a new large language model (LLM) developed by Google, which was announced in May this year. PaLM 2 has been trained on texts from over 100 countries, making it strong in multilingual text understanding and translation, and capable of handling subtle differences in text.
Previously, Wrtn offered various generative AI language models developed by OpenAI, such as GPT4 and GPT3.5, free of charge. Now, users can also choose the latest non-English language model developed by Google.
Within the Wrtn chat interface, users can select each language model, and PaLM 2 is described as "fast and highly readable," GPT 4 as "intelligent," GPT 3.5 as "fast," and GPT 3.5 16K as "long response." Users can refer to these descriptions to choose the preferred model and generate results accordingly.
"By integrating Google's PaLM 2, we have taken another step forward as an AI portal for everyone," Wrtn CEO Lee Se-young said. "We will continue to quickly provide good language models, enabling everyone to easily and conveniently utilize generative AI tools."
