BYD's 1-ton electric truck T4K Hankook Tire & Technology announced on Thursday that it will supply the Hankook RA08, a tire for a small truck to China's BYD 1-ton electric truck T4K.
The T4K is equipped with BYD's battery technology called Blade-LFP battery. This is the first commercial vehicle model in South Korea to feature a vehicle-to-load connector that can supply the car's power energy to external devices.
The Hankook RA08, supplied by Hankook Tire as the new tire for the T4K, is known for its strong traction and excellent wear resistance, offering stable support for the vehicle's load and extended tire life. Its optimized pattern design also enhances braking performance, contributing to a stable driving experience.
Hankook Tire plans to strengthen its strategic partnership with BYD, starting with the latest new tire supply, to further establish its presence in China, which is the world's largest electric vehicle market.
