CJ Olive Young Corp., South Korea’s top beauty store chain, announced on Thursday that it will open Olive Young Hongdae Town, a specialty store that enhances the K-beauty offline experience, starting the next day.
Olive Young Hongdae (Hongik University) Town covers an operating area of 991 square meters from the ground floor to the third floor, making it the second-largest store after Myungdong Town (1,157 square meters).
Hongdae Town plans to target core customers, aged 10-20, and foreign tourists by transforming half of the first floor into a Collaboration Zone, showcasing collaboration plans with various industries such as new beauty brands, movies, games, and characters every month.
The second floor is structured with counters focusing on recommended color cosmetics and premium brands by professional merchandisers, and the third floor is mainly dedicated to skincare and basic cosmetics.
