South Korea-based electronics giant LG has revealed new designs of its logo, "Face of the Future," in a move to upgrade its brand storytelling. On June 10, the company shared seven designs based on the existing logo. The new designs maintain the original look while adding versatile, animated touches to reflect the groove of the digital generation.
The unveiled designs are modern reinterpretations of the company's logo -- offering fresh and colorful expressions that embody the concepts of youth, society, technology, the world, and its future, thereby enhancing the company's brand storytelling technique and awareness for its logo.
The new designs will first be applied to the company's business cards. Employees' contact information will be provided on one side of the card with the new design on the opposite side. Employees can choose one of seven designs that best expresses their individuality. The business cards will be made using eco-friendly paper that includes recycled pulp.
Moving forward, LG will also reinvent the logo into animated clips to use when reaching out to online and offline customers.
LG's new "Face of the Future" expression LG also plans to launch an advertising campaign to enhance its brand image and to reach out to its customers. The campaign will feature future-focused, young LG employees in the electric vehicle battery, OLED, eco-friendly plastic, artificial intelligence and big data sectors.
“We want to instill some creative energy into the LG brand and make various efforts for the brand to go through a meaningful and innovative evolution," said the company official.
