South Korea's Eugene Corporation, which specializes in ready-mixed concrete and construction material distribution, announced on Wednesday that it has built the industry's first "Ready-mixed Concrete Production Simulation System" and is using it for talent education and quality improvement.
The system, situated in Eugene Corporation's technology research center, reduces on-site production equipment by 1/100th and is being utilized for education. Employees can practice in a safe environment without any risk factors, such as measuring and transferring raw materials for ready-mix concrete, starting and monitoring machinery, and responding to abnormalities.
The system aims to improve the disadvantages of factory practical education, which is prone to long wait times and quality defects.
"Education time can be greatly reduced through simulation, and production errors and quality defects can also be prevented," said a Eugene Corporation official.
