South Korea's Samsung Display Co. announced on Monday that it will launch a wrapping advertisement promoting the excellence of Samsung OLED on New York's city tour buses throughout August, coinciding with the summer vacation season.
This ad can be seen on the downtown route, which includes landmarks such as Times Square, the Empire State Building, and Wall Street, and on the uptown route, which passes by landmarks like the Museum of Natural History, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Central Park.
The ad highlights the durability of Samsung Display’s OLED with a backdrop of the ocean, and the illustrations depicting the bus passengers as if they were vacationers enjoying water activities are particularly striking.
Last May, Samsung Display acquired the New York State-based OLED company eMagin, and in October last year, the company conducted pop-up marketing at Santa Monica Beach in Los Angeles to promote the superiority of Samsung OLED.
