SK Energy, an energy and petrochemical unit of South Korea's SK Group, has won first place for 17 consecutive years in the gas station sector of the "2023 Korean Brand Power Index" (K-BPI) hosted by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC), according to an announcement made on Sunday.
The company was highly praised for having evolved into a platform with services that are suitable for drivers’ convenience without simply remaining as the refueling space.
SK gas stations are also pursuing a business model makeover through an eco-friendly platform network in line with recent market environmental changes such as expanding electric cars and switching to eco-friendly energy sources.
“SK gas stations will communicate with customers through unique and fun content this year as well,” said Oh Jong-hoon, SK Energy's P&M CIC representative.
“We will evolve and develop as a platform operator by combining technology and capabilities and provide customer-friendly eco-friendly services together,” he added.
