LG Elec tops US sustainable brand rankings for HVAC, appliances

LG Electronics Inc. said on Wednesday it was named the most sustainable brand in the US for its heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions and home appliances by the 2024 Green Builder Sustainable Brand Index, published by North American eco-friendly construction outlet Green Builder Media.

The index is based on an annual survey of more than 500 construction professionals, including builders and developers.

LG’s HVAC solutions, a key growth driver for the company beat the first time North American industry leaders Trane and Carrier.

In the home appliance category, LG retained its ranking as the most sustainable brand for the second year.
