Ottogi Co. selects Jin from K-pop band BTS as its new model
South Korea’s food manufacturing giant Ottogi Co. has selected Jin from K-pop band BTS as its new face of the uber-popular Jin Ramen line.
Ottogi announced on Wednesday that it will launch a new TV commercial featuring Jin this Friday.
The company explained that the sincerity that Jin has toward music is in line with the sincerity Ottogi feels about the taste of Jin Ramen. The parallel is also the core message of the upcoming TV commercial.
“We will effectively communicate the brand value of Jin Ramen, which has been a steady seller for the last 35 years, in tandem with global artist Jin,” an Ottogi official said.
