Min Hee-jin, the former CEO of ADOR, HYBE Co. 's label behind the K-pop girl group NewJeans, announced her resignation as the label's internal director on Wednesday.
As of November 20, Min’s Instagram account shows she no longer follows NewJeans’ official account.
She also shared Deniece Williams’ Free on social media, a song with lyrics such as “I want to be free free, free” and “I just got to be me,” conveying her desire for freedom and authenticity.
Min posted an image of a rabbit holding a sign that read “resignation.”
“I am terminating the shareholders’ agreement with HYBE and will hold HYBE legally accountable for breaches of this agreement," Min said.
"Additionally, I will pursue legal actions against HYBE and its affiliates for their numerous illegal actions.”
