The 2024 Niro Hybrid Kia Corp. announced on Wednesday the launch of the 2024 Niro, a compact crossover SUV hybrid and electric vehicle (EV) models, which will be available for full-scale sales.
Kia, a subsidiary of South Korea's auto giant Hyundai Motor Group, said the model features updated specifications based on customer preferences, aiming to enhance its commercial value and offer a wider range of choices through new packages.
The 2024 Niro features an electronic chromic mirror (ECM) in all hybrid and EV trims and shift-by-wire (SBW) electronic dial and rain sensors in the hybrid Prestige trims. Sunroofs, only available in the top trim of the previous model, will now be offered in the Prestige for hybrids and basic trim for EVs.
The "My Comfort Package," which is available for all trims, includes a sun visor lamp with LED lighting, a map lamp, a room lamp, a luggage lamp, and a luggage screen.
"The Niro is a highly efficient and well-designed SUV with excellent space utilization. We aim to once again lead the eco-friendly SUV market by strengthening the competitiveness of the product to meet customer demands," said a Kia official.
