LG Uplus Corp., a mobile telecom service carrier in South Korea, announced on Tuesday that it would present a complete set of smart factory solutions at Smart Factory & Automation World 2023, the largest exhibition in Asia focused on the smart factory and automation industry.
As the only mobile telecom company participating in the event, which will take place at COEX in Seoul from March 8-10, LG Uplus will showcase smart factory solutions that utilize 5G, AI and IoT technologies.
Additionally, the company will showcase technologies like smart radar that can prevent safety accidents in factories and post-quantum cryptography (PQC) to improve factory security.
"LG Uplus has been introducing smart factory solutions across the country since 2016 and leading digital transformation across various industries, including manufacturing, public, financial and distribution services, based on its 5G network capabilities," said Kwon Geun-seop, the LG Uplus manager responsible for smart factory business.
