SGI CEO Yoo Gwang-yeol (left) and IADB President Ilan Goldfajn in IADB Headquarters, Washington DC Seoul Guarantee Insurance Company (SGI) announced on Wednesday that it had entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) to promote the activation of guarantee insurance in Central and South America.
SGI and IADB will collaborate on researching guarantee insurance in the region. SGI aims to offer guarantee services to domestic enterprises venturing into Latin American markets and explore options to revive the guarantee insurance program through this partnership.
The IADB, founded in 1959, is the most extensive regional development financial institution in the Americas, dedicated to supporting healthcare, education and infrastructure growth in Central and South America.
