Baby Shark, the popular children’s character from South Korea’s family entertainment company Pinkfong, and Elmo, the famous red monster from “Sesame Street,” the longest-running American TV children’s program, have met ahead of Earth Day, which falls on April 22.
The Seoul-based Pinkfong on Monday said it will release a video planned with the show ahead of Earth Day, which demonstrates support for protection of the environment.
The video has both characters play along to Pinkfong’s hit song “Baby Shark,” featuring the character inviting “Sesame Street” friends into the sea. Other videos were also released to teach children about water conservation and recycling rules.
“We hope that this collaboration contributes to creating a healthier planet,” Pinkfong’s Chief Strategy Officer Kwon Bit-na said.
