HD Hyundai XiteSolution's CEO Cho Young-Cheul (left) and Dmytro Ponomarenko, the Ukrainian Ambassador to S.Korea HD Hyundai Co. announced on Thursday that Dmytro Ponomarenko, the Ukrainian Ambassador to South Korea, and his delegation visited the Pangyo HD Hyundai Global R&D Center to hold discussions with Cho Young-cheul, the CEO of HD Hyundai XiteSolution, regarding his country's reconstruction projects.
During the meeting, CEO Cho introduced HD Hyundai's construction machinery business and shared details about the Polish economic delegation visit on July 14, in which Korean companies participated. Both parties discussed cooperation opportunities for potential reconstruction projects in Ukraine and agreed to establish an ongoing collaborative framework.
"In addition to construction machinery, other items such as power generators and portable power generators can also be beneficial for Ukraine's reconstruction. We will closely consult with the Ukrainian government to promptly initiate cooperative reconstruction projects when needed," said an HD Hyundai official.
Earlier in the month, CEO Cho accompanied the Polish economic delegation led by the Korean President and attended a reconstruction meeting in Ukraine. On June 13, a delegation consisting of Vasyl Shkurakov, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, and representatives from Ukrainian Railways visited HD Hyundai Construction Equipment's Ulsan campus to inspect production facilities and discuss the necessary collaboration for reconstruction projects.
