Samsung Electronics' dual UHD gaming monitor Odyssey Neo G9 Samsung Electronics Co. will unveil its latest gaming monitors at this year's Gamescom, Europe's largest trade show for video games, that runs Wednesday through Sunday in Cologne, Germany.
The company has prepared an exhibition hall of 752 square meters, its largest for this event, to roll out monitors with premium specs like the 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9, Odyssey Ark and 49-inch Odyssey OLED.
As the world's first dual gaming monitor with ultra-high definition (UHD), the Odyssey Neo G9 has a 57-inch (145 cm) 32:9 super ultra-wide ratio, 1,000R curvature and dual UHD resolution (7,680 × 2160).
The device offers a huge screen in the form of two 32-inch UHD monitors attached side by side.
In addition to spectacular picture quality through Quantum Mini-LED and Quantum Matrix technology, it has AMD FreeSync Premium Pro that prevents screen tearing, stuttering or input latency in fast-moving and complex game scenes.
Samsung Electronics' Odyssey Arc
The Odyssey Arc with enhanced performance will also make its debut. The 55-inch screen model has considerably better connectivity and convenience than its predecessor, with a multi-view function allowing simultaneous input and output of up to four external devices for consumption of diverse multimedia content while playing games.
The Odyssey Arc has a 4K UHD resolution (3,840 × 2,160), a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz and fast response time of up to 1ms.
