South Korea's electronics giant LG Electronics Inc. has commenced various community support initiatives in Tennessee, one of its key production hubs for home appliances in the US, according to the company announcement on Wednesday.
The campaign kicked off on September 17 to coincide with the start date of the regular home games of the Tennessee Titans, an NFL team officially sponsored by LG.
The activities aim to authentically convey the company's core value encapsulated in its slogan, 'Life's Good.'
To celebrate the flavors of Tennessee, LG has produced a special video series called "Taste of Tennessee."
The series is available on LG Smart TVs through the LG Channel and the LG Electronics USA YouTube channel.
The videos feature local eateries and their unique recipes, showcasing the state's distinctive food culture.
In a benevolent gesture, LG is also collaborating with these local restaurants to operate food trucks outside the Titans' stadium. All proceeds from this initiative will be donated to charity to assist the less fortunate in the community.
Moreover, LG has plans to donate its all-in-one washing and drying machines, known as WashTowers, to four elementary schools in the Tennessee area.
