South Korean fashion commerce platform Ably Corp. announced on Wednesday its Japanese shopping platform amood starts a one-stop service for domestic sellers eyeing entering into Japanese market.
Retailers registered on Ably can now initiate sales in Japan with the simple click of an overseas sales linkage button without any additional costs.
Once integrated, Ably undertakes a comprehensive range of operations such as payment processing, shipping, customs clearances, logistics, and even local marketing strategies.
Following a pilot phase from July to September Ably reported receiving encouraging feedback. Within a mere quarter, over 11,000 retailers extended their operations into the Japanese market.
Ably's first overseas service amood has made significant strides in Japan.
By leveraging its proprietary AI-based personalization and recommendation system, combined with a vast databank of 180 million Japanese customer preferences, it has carved out a substantial niche.
Last year, Amood's app downloads in Japan exceeded 3 million, making it the only South Korean-operated platform to rank within the top five shopping applications in the country.
