CJ Foodville, the food subsidiary of South Korea's CJ Group, announced on Wednesday that its bakery chain brand Tous Les Jours has opened a new store in Bandung, near Jakarta, Indonesia, bringing its local store count to more than 60.
Since entering Indonesia in 2011, Tous Les Jours has been expanding its stores, mainly in Jakarta. This year, the brand has stores not only in Jakarta but also in other parts of Indonesia such as Brkasi and Bali.
In 2019, Tous Les Jours obtained halal certification in Indonesia and sells halal products in all of its local stores.
CJ Foodville reported a 71% increase in sales and a 740% surge in operating profits in 2022 compared to the previous year.
With further expansion planned, the company expects to see even greater profits in the last year, too.
