On Tuesday, the smallest of South Korea’s top three mobile carriers unveiled a plan to adopt ixi chatbot on LG Uplus AI ixi’s official Instagram page in the second half of this year to allow page visitors to communicate with ixi through Instagram direct messengers.
The Korean company and Meta Platforms will also use AI ixi to convert TV videos into shortform videos for Instagram Reels. The Korean company said ixi can significantly reduce the time to create a vertical video for Reels with the original TV video.
The move is part of LG Uplus’ efforts to allow its customers to have more diverse and real-life AI experiences with its AI services.
