South Korea's Woori Bank and Woori PE Asset Management announced on Thursday that they have signed a "strategic business agreement for creating a global private loan fund and cooperation" with the French investment bank Natixis.
Natixis is an investment bank under Groupe BPCE, France's second-largest financial group, with total assets amounting to 472.5 billion euros ($505.3 billion) as of the end of last year.
Under this agreement, both parties will create a $250 million fund to invest in global infrastructure, renewable energy, and real estate sectors.
Woori Bank will invest $200 million, Natixis will invest $50 million and Woori PE Asset Management will manage the fund.
