S.Korea's KT CS reports record sales in 2022

On Friday, KT Corp.'s customer service unit, KT CS, announced that its sales revenue for the previous year reached a record high of 591.6 billion won ($455 million), representing a 7.8% increase from the previous year.
The South Korean company also reported a 6.5% increase in operating profit to 16.2 billion won.
Furthermore, during a board of directors meeting held on the same day, the company declared a cash dividend of 120 won per share, with a market price dividend rate of 5.15% and a total dividend amount of 4.55 billion won.
According to a KT CS official, the success of their strategy to expand AI-based customer service was evident in the sales figures of their contact center business, which grew by 36.4% to 140.5 billion won in 2022 from 103 billion won in the previous year.
