South Korean game developer Neowiz announced on Friday it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with SK Hynix Inc. for global marketing collaboration.
With SK Hynix's global sales infrastructure and network, the two companies will have co-marketing “Lies of P,” the popular game intellectual property (IP) and "Platinum P41," SK Hynix's flagship solid-state drive (SSD) product.
The plan is to focus on marketing aimed at high-performance games that require optimization and cater to global users who demand top-tier PC environments, maximizing synergies between the two companies.
"Through this MOU, Lies of P is expected to reach wider global users," Park Seong-joon, the Studio Head of Neowiz Round 8, expressed. "We will devise and execute various marketing plans that make use of the IP, services, sales channels, and other assets that both companies possess."
"SK Hynix continues to receive positive feedback from customers, not only in the existing business-to-business (B2B) SSD market but also in business-to-consumer (B2C) market," a SK Hynix source said. "We will make efforts to ensure that both companies can achieve a win-win situation by leveraging SK Hynix's product competitiveness and marketing expertise."
