South Korea's tourism platform unicorn Yanolja announced on Monday that it will expand its overseas travel services by linking with Traveloka, a renowned travel platform in Southeast Asia.
Starting out as a flight search engine in 2012, Traveloka has become the largest travel platform in Southeast Asia, with a record of over 122 million downloads of its app in six countries. It is known for its integration with millions of providers in various industries, including accommodations, transportation, local services and finance.
Yanolja will provide access to Traveloka's extensive overseas accommodation reservation services, which include over 60,000 properties in Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, and other countries.
Additionally, by integrating Yanolja's unique inventory of domestic accommodations with Traveloka, it plans to introduce domestic travel products to global customers and contribute to attracting inbound tourists.
According to Yanolja, its channeling service, which provides leisure-related inventory to various platforms, has shown an increase of over 112% compared to 2021.
