S.Korea's cleaning and disinfecting appliance exports soar amid COVID-19 pandemic

Increased time spent at home due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic has led to the rise in exports of cleaning and disinfecting appliances, including dishwashers, clothes dryers, air purifiers and vacuum cleaners. The cumulative exports for these household appliances surged by 22.5~71.5% in September 2020, compared to the year-earlier period. In particular, vacuum cleaner exports jumped by 71.5% compared to the previous year.
